Among the top five candidates is Einar Jóhannes Guðnason, a member of the party's leadership, who will be leading the ticket as the candidate for mayor in the community. The party aims to regain representation in the municipal council, having not held a seat during the current term.

Joining Guðnason on the list is Nína Berglind Sigurgeirsdóttir, a preschool director and also a running coach, who will occupy the second position.
