A 48-year-old woman was killed in São Sebastião do Paraíso, Brazil, after a violent confrontation over a drug debt.
In a tragic incident in São Sebastião do Paraíso, Minas Gerais, a 48-year-old woman lost her life after being assaulted by a 30-year-old man following a discussion regarding a drug debt. The attack, which occurred around 9:40 PM on Tuesday, escalated from a verbal altercation into a violent confrontation, during which the man struck the woman with a metal bar and subsequently stabbed her with a knife.
The victim's 20-year-old daughter intervened upon hearing the commotion, managing to wrest the metal bar away from the assailant. This skirmish left both the attacker and the daughter injured, showcasing the chaotic and violent nature of the event. Upon the arrival of the Military Police, all three individuals were being assisted by emergency services, underscoring the urgency of the situation. While the daughter sustained only minor injuries, her mother was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and sadly succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
The perpetrator has since been detained and taken to the Regional Police Department in São Sebastião do Paraíso.
