On Tuesday, a truck carrying wood chips caught fire on the BR-163 highway in Sinop, located 480 kilometers from Cuiabá, Brazil. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries as the incident occurred early in the morning at around 1:30 AM. Local firefighters from the Military Fire Brigade of Mato Grosso (CBMMT) were alerted and quickly dispatched to the scene to manage the situation.

Upon arrival, the firefighting team found the truck fully engulfed in flames. To combat the fire, firefighters operated in two teams and utilized two fire trucks, deploying approximately six thousand liters of water to extinguish the blaze. Their quick response was crucial in preventing the fire from spreading further and causing more significant damage.

After successfully extinguishing the flames, the firefighters carried out a thorough investigation to ensure no further hotspots remained, thus securing the area from potential future fires.
