The Coast Guard has confirmed that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Todd Meadows, a 25-year-old deckhand for the fishing vessel Aleutian Lady, which is featured in the popular reality series 'Deadliest Catch.' The incident occurred last week when Meadows fell overboard while the ship was operating about 170 miles north of Dutch Harbor, Alaska. According to the Coast Guard, the crew attempted to recover him, but despite subsequent first aid efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
