They stole 20 million pesos from him and he was surprised to discover who the thief was

A robbery in Eldorado, Argentina, took an unexpected turn when the victim implicated one of his sons as a possible member of the gang that stole 20 million pesos.

In a daytime armed robbery in Eldorado, Argentina, a businessman lost 20 million pesos to three masked assailants who threatened his safety and claimed to have kidnapped his daughter to coerce him into compliance. The incident occurred in a residential building at kilometer 8 of Eldorado, around 200 kilometers from Posadas. Faced with the armed men, the victim was forced to surrender his cash, which he kept on-site, while the robbers created a sense of urgency by claiming his 16-year-old daughter was in danger.

After the robbers fled, the businessman managed to contact his daughter, who was found to be safe while traveling on an intercity bus to Wanda. This alleviation of fear allowed him to report the crime to the authorities, leading to a significant twist in the narrative. Upon questioning, the businessman revealed that he recognized two of the robbers, one of whom was his son, raising serious questions about familial betrayal and complicity in crime.

The police have not disclosed the identity of the victim but are actively investigating the case, with the potential involvement of family members adding layers to the already complex situation. The incident not only highlights the dangers of armed theft in Argentina but also exposes the potential for familial conflict and criminal affiliations that can arise in such dire circumstances.
