The Estonian Futsal Championship is gearing up for its quarterfinals, starting with a matchup between Tartu Ravens Futsal and Tallinna FC Qarabag on Wednesday. The Ravens finished the main stage of the tournament in third place, while Qarabag ended up in sixth. In their previous encounters during the main stage, the teams played to a dramatic 6-6 draw in their first meeting, where Qarabag equalized in the dying moments, aided by an own goal from Ravens. In their subsequent meeting, Ravens secured a convincing 8-0 victory over Qarabag.
The first match of the quarterfinal series will be held at 19:00 in EMÜ Sports Hall, with a return game scheduled for March 7. In the other quarterfinal series, Saku Sporting will face Silla FC Phoenix, with their first match on March 6 and the second on March 7. The quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-three format, where a team must win two games to advance to the semifinals.
