Employability Fair Brings Together Companies with Job Openings in Baixada Santista

The Employability Fair aims to connect job seekers with companies offering positions in the Baixada Santista region.

The Employability Fair is taking place on Wednesday, June 4, at the Cultural Block of Cubatão, São Paulo. This event is designed to bridge the gap between job seekers and companies with available positions, promoting professional growth and reintegration into the job market. It is a collaborative initiative organized by companies such as Rumo, Visão Mundial, and Senai, with support from Petrobrás, PAT, and CIDE, as part of the Movimenta Baixada social impact program by Rumo Logística.

Prior to the employment fair, on February 25, thematic lectures on employability were held to prepare attendees for real job opportunities, especially in socially vulnerable contexts. These lectures aimed to equip participants with skills and knowledge to improve their chances of successful employment. The event is expected to feature a variety of job openings from different companies in the Cubatão Industrial Pole, alongside career workshops and networking opportunities for attendees.

The fair represents a significant effort towards local economic development, emphasizing the need for community-driven initiatives that support individuals struggling to find work. By providing a platform for interaction between potential employees and employers, it not only aims to reduce unemployment in the region but also empowers residents by enhancing their employability skills, thus contributing to the overall socio-economic upliftment of the area.
