Successful team Team Ramudden disbands: "Achieved dreams together"
Team Ramudden, known for its notable achievements in skiing since its inception in 2018, has decided to disband following the completion of their final season.
Team Ramudden, founded in 2018 by Lina and Gustaf Korsgren, is officially disbanding after a successful run that included six wins at the Vasaloppet and five at the Marcialonga. Their achievements also feature two overall victories in the prestigious Ski Classics series, highlighting their prominent position in the skiing sports community. The team's decision to disband comes after what Lina Korsgren describes as a fulfilling journey where they have reached personal and professional milestones alongside their athletes.
Lina, who has triumphed at the Vasaloppet three times, expressed that the decision to dissolve the team arose from a mutual understanding within the family, emphasizing that they feel it's the right moment to conclude this significant chapter of their lives. With a promising lineup, including athletes like Truls Gisselman, who made waves at the Olympics, the team aims to finish their season on a high note. The upcoming competitions in Orsa Grönklitt will serve as their final showcase, cementing their legacy in Swedish skiing.
As Team Ramudden prepares for this farewell, their focus remains on the imminent races, with the 50 km event airing on SVT Play. The decision resonates with fans and athletes alike, marking a bittersweet end to a team that has not only achieved impressive victories but also created lasting memories and friendships among its members.
