The Civil Police of Brazil are investigating the tragic death of a 34-year-old rural worker who suffered severe injuries while performing tasks on a farm in the Assentamento Dona Carmen, located in Mirante do Paranapanema. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Monday, October 2, when the worker was operating a grinding machine to cut screws in a wooden post. Unfortunately, the machine malfunctioned, causing the tool's disk to break and inflict a serious abdominal injury to the worker.

Emergency services, including the Fire Brigade, were contacted immediately, and the victim was rushed to the Hospital Regional de Teodoro Sampaio.
