On Monday, October 2nd, in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, located in the Greater Recife area of Brazil, a 21-year-old woman became a victim of an attempted feminicide. The suspect, a 35-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed, allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times, doused her with paint thinner, and set her on fire. This horrific incident highlights the persistent issue of violence against women in Brazil, prompting authorities to act swiftly.
