Lombardy, where mobile speed cameras will be installed until Sunday, March 8
The police in Lombardy have announced the locations of mobile speed cameras set to monitor speeding from March 3 to March 8.
In recent hours, police in Lombardy revealed the specific roads and highways where mobile speed checks will take place to enforce speed limits. Various locations have been designated for monitoring throughout the week, including on March 3 on Strada Provinciale 128 Treviglio-Brignano-Cologno al Serio in Bergamo, and on March 4 and 6 on the A7 motorway between Milan and Genoa in Pavia. Furthermore, additional checks will occur on March 7 on the A36 motorway (Como) and Strada Statale 9 in Lodi, concluding on March 8 with checks along Strada Statale 629 del Lago di Monate in Varese and Strada Provinciale 671 della Valle Seriana in Bergamo.
The initiative aims to increase road safety by making drivers aware of their speed. Alongside the variable mobile locations, it is essential to remain vigilant about fixed speed checking systems, such as Tutor systems on highways that monitor average speeds and traditional speed cameras managed by municipalities. The police have emphasized the importance of compliance with speed regulations for the safety of all road users.
This proactive approach to speed enforcement reveals the ongoing commitment of Lombardy's authorities to reduce road accidents and enhance public safety. By informing the public about specific locations and times for speed monitoring, officials aim to encourage drivers to adhere to speed limits and mitigate reckless driving behavior, highlighting the critical relationship between speed management and traffic safety in the region.
