A 26-year-old man was apprehended by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) while traveling on Fernão Dias highway in Vargem, São Paulo, carrying more than 3 kilograms of illegal drugs hidden in a gift box. The police discovered 300 grams of hashish, 940 grams of crack cocaine, and 2.2 kilograms of marijuana, totaling over 3.4 kilograms when they conducted a routine crime-fighting inspection at around 11:15 PM on Sunday (October 2). The box was cleverly concealed under the front seat of the vehicle, which was reported stolen. Upon questioning, the driver initially denied knowledge of the package's contents. However, further investigation revealed irregularities in his driver's license and signs of tampering on the vehicle's identification elements, suggesting involvement in criminal activity.
