Local organization committee members from the association 1250 Jahre Herrsching are hard at work, first consulting with the Munich fire department to develop a comprehensive safety plan for the festivities. They also met with local restaurateurs who will handle catering for the main festival tent, ensuring that everything is in place for the anticipated crowds.

The festivities are scheduled to run from June 7 to June 21 at the local sports field, marking a significant milestone for the community. Ludwig Darchinger, the chairman of the organizing committee, expressed some surprise at the level of work and planning required but showed no signs of discouragement. The committee understands that the remaining time until the festival is limited and has committed to meeting weekly to discuss progress and finalize details, reinforcing their dedication to making the event a success.

Prior to this, the town council had launched discussions over a year ago to determine who would take charge of organizing the anniversary celebrations, subsequently placing their trust in the local community group.
