"They humiliated the victim". Three minors under house arrest for the homophobic assault in Rome

Three minors are under house arrest for a brutal homophobic assault on a 25-year-old man in Rome.

An investigation has concluded regarding a violent homophobic attack that occurred on September 14 in Rome, where 25-year-old Alessandro Ansaldo was severely beaten and verbally assaulted. The perpetrators, identified as three minors, have been placed under house arrest following a thorough investigation that involved analyzing surveillance footage, banking information, social media activity, witness testimonies, and photographic identifications.

The attack took place as Ansaldo was returning home alone and was approached by a group of 17-year-olds. One of the minors initially grabbed and broke a fan that Ansaldo was carrying, before spitting in his face. This act escalated to the other two minors joining in the assault, resulting in significant physical harm to Ansaldo.
