Authorities from the Municipal Secretariat for the Environment (Semma) have launched an investigation into a potential poisoning of trees at Jacundá beach, located in Alter do Chão, approximately 37 km from Santarém in Pará, Brazil. This area, recognized as an Area of Environmental Protection (APA), serves to safeguard the natural ecosystems in the region, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation amidst such alarming incidents.
