Four-year-old child dies after being hit by a car at school door in Caratinga

Despite being rushed to the Hospital Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora, the boy's injuries were deemed too severe, and he passed away early Tuesday morning, October 3.

The police reported that the driver, a 38-year-old woman, was picking up her child from school when the incident occurred. According to her statement, she experienced an unforeseen issue while maneuvering her vehicle on the access ramp, which resulted in the car rapidly advancing and striking several individuals near the school's entrance. Witnesses and security camera footage confirmed the sudden and alarming nature of the accident, where five people, including the child, sustained injuries.
