The Croatian region wants to host Poles all year round. Invites to sailing, concerts, and spas
The Šibenik-Knin County in Croatia aims to attract Polish tourists year-round, promoting its offerings in sailing, concerts, and spa experiences.
The Šibenik-Knin County of Croatia has reported a significant increase in Polish tourism, with over 1.2 million Polish tourists visiting the country last year. This marked an increase of over 6% compared to 2024, contributing to Poland's position as the fourth-largest source market for Croatian tourism, following Germany, Slovenia, and Austria. Notably, Polish visitors ranked second in the Šibenik-Knin County's tourism statistics, only behind Germany.
To capitalize on this trend, the Šibenik-Knin County held a presentation in Warsaw, organized by the Croatian Tourist Board, to showcase its tourist attractions to Polish media and industry professionals. Key representatives included Krešimir Šakić, the director of the Šibenik-Knin Tourist Board, and Anita Franin-Pečarica, the director of the Vodice Tourist Board. During this event, they emphasized the county's offerings, which include sailing opportunities, music concerts, and wellness spa experiences aimed at attracting Polish visitors throughout the whole year.
This promotional effort highlights the growing importance of the Polish tourism market to the Croatian region, and it aims to establish long-term relationships with Polish vacationers. As the region continues to attract visitors with a mix of beautiful landscapes and cultural events, the collaboration between tourism entities and targeted marketing strategies signifies a promising future for the Šibenik-Knin County in boosting its tourist economy.
