The event occurred on Sunday when the man was visiting his ex-wife and her mother-in-law. Local reports indicate that during the visit, he unexpectedly turned a kitchen knife on himself, inflicting severe injuries to his chest. Neighbors who learned about the situation alerted the authorities, prompting a swift response from the Kagumo Police Station, along with investigative teams.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers confirmed two stab wounds on the man’s chest and recovered the kitchen knife as evidence. The body was subsequently transported to the Kerugoya General Hospital Morgue, where it awaits an autopsy.
