Resident woke up to the sound of the fire alarm and soon realized it was serious – watch the video of the violent fire in Vantaa

A fire in Vantaa had residents evacuating as a family was alerted by a fire alarm and safely called emergency services.

In Vantaa, Finland, a dramatic fire incident unfolded early in the morning, where resident Constantin Sarb was alerted by his spouse, who was awake with their newborn. They discovered that a fire broke out in their apartment building, prompting Sarb to quickly alert emergency services while ensuring the safety of his family.

As the flames were reflected in the snow outside, Sarb's family was advised by emergency services to stay indoors. Fortunately, despite the fire occurring very close to their dwelling, their apartment did not sustain any damage. However, the fire's origin remains undetermined, as Sarb was unaware of the residents in the unit where the blaze started.

The East Uusimaa Police reported that authorities received the fire alarm around 5:40 AM, indicating a rapid response to the situation. Local social workers suggested that affected families go to a nearby library for assistance, but when Sarb and his family arrived, no one was present to help, raising concerns about the coordination of response efforts in emergencies like this.
