Drunk 'Citroen' driver in Klaipėda did not get far: crashed into a BMW in the parking lot

A drunk driver collided with a parked BMW in Klaipėda, Lithuania, damaging it while attempting to reverse.

In Klaipėda, Lithuania, a 1972-born man driving a 'Citroen' was involved in a minor accident on Monday afternoon while reversing in a parking lot on Taikos pr. The incident occurred around 5 PM when the driver collided with a stationary BMW, causing damage to the vehicle.

Local police, identified as Klaipėdos apskrities VPK, reported that the driver of the 'Citroen' exhibited signs of significant intoxication. A breathalyzer test indicated a blood alcohol concentration of 2.22 promiles, which is well over the legal limit for driving in Lithuania.
