Danish homebuyers face a declining supply of available properties as the housing market tightens.
Danish homebuyers are reported to be in for some disappointment as they prepare for open house events this spring, with new data revealing a continued decline in the number of homes available for sale across the country, except on Bornholm island. At the beginning of March, there were only 29,021 properties on the market, which is 171 fewer than the previous month, marking a 2.4% decrease over the past month and a staggering 14.3% drop compared to the same time last year. This is the lowest level of housing supply seen in four years, with only a brief period during the COVID-19 pandemic experiencing lower numbers.
