Motorola unveiled its first large-screen foldable smartphone, the Moto Razr Fold, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This new model features top-of-the-line specifications, positioning it as a competitor to well-established foldable devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Honor Magic V3. Previously, Motorola focused on smaller foldable formats, such as the Moto Razr 60 Ultra, making this release a significant expansion of their product line.
The Moto Razr Fold is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and boasts two screens: an impressive 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch outer display. Consumers can choose from memory options of 12 GB or 16 GB RAM, and storage capacities ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. Furthermore, the device is powered by a robust 6,000 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage times for users who require high performance in a compact form.
In terms of photography, the smartphone offers a total of five cameras, including three rear cameras with 50-megapixel resolution (primary, ultra-wide, and 3x telephoto), along with a 32 MP front-facing camera and a 20 MP internal camera. This extensive camera configuration enhances the device's appeal to photography enthusiasts, and the pricing for the Moto Razr Fold in Europe starts at €1,999, showcasing its premium positioning in the foldable smartphone market.
