The LED Globo Festival is set to debut in Recife, featuring free educational workshops and discussions focusing on the intersection of cinema, entrepreneurship, and Brazilian education.
The LED Globo Festival, also known as 'Light on Education', is launching in Recife this month, marking its eighth edition after successful events in cities like Rio de Janeiro, Belém, and Belo Horizonte. Scheduled for March 24 at Parque Dona Lindu in the Boa Viagem neighborhood, the festival will offer a range of free workshops, debates, and lectures exploring the relationship between cinema, entrepreneurship, and Brazilian education.
This year's program will showcase an array of notable participants, including journalists from TV Globo, various specialists, and artists such as Aline Midlej, George Moura, Hermila Guedes, Lírio Ferreira, Pedro Lins, and Bianka Carvalho. The free tickets can be booked online, making it accessible for a broad audience to engage with the discussions and creative workshops aimed at enhancing educational and cultural experiences.
In addition to workshops and talks, attendees will enjoy a musical performance by Maciel Salú and guided visits to film locations associated with director Kleber Mendonça Filho. With its focus on blending education with culture through various artistic expressions, the festival is positioned to foster dialogue and innovation in Brazilian society, particularly in the realms of education and the creative industries.
