Argentine injured after accident involving three cars between Búzios and Cabo Frio

An Argentine man was injured in a three-car accident on RJ-102 between Cabo Frio and Búzios in Brazil.

A 42-year-old Argentine man sustained injuries in a three-car collision on RJ-102, which occurred early on Monday morning, specifically at around 2:40 AM near kilometer 127, between the cities of Cabo Frio and Armação dos Búzios in Rio de Janeiro's Lagos Region. According to the police report from the Highway Patrol Command, the accident initiated when one vehicle, traveling from Cabo Frio to Búzios, crashed into the rear of another car in front of it. This collision resulted in the first driver losing control and subsequently hitting a third vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, with the Brazilian Fire Department rescuing the injured man and taking him to the Municipal Hospital Rodolpho Perissé for treatment. Reports indicate that he suffered moderate injuries from the crash. The other drivers involved, aged 37 and 30, were unharmed, and the accountability of the damaged vehicles has been transferred to their respective owners.
