Domus Artis celebrates 25 years with an immersive cycle that transforms the cultural scene thanks to Dolby Atmos technology

Domus Artis marks its 25th anniversary by launching an immersive listening cycle featuring Dolby Atmos, showcasing Argentine musical talent.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Domus Artis is becoming one of the first venues in Argentina to present a series of immersive listening sessions using the Dolby Atmos technology. Established during the significant economic crisis in 2001, this independent cultural center has shown remarkable resilience, having navigated challenges including the Cromañón nightclub tragedy and the COVID-19 pandemic. The immersive listening cycle, named Domus Artis Inmersivo, will feature a full weekend of auditory experiences centered on Argentine music, emphasizing the center's commitment to cultural innovation and artistic expression.

The Domus Artis Inmersivo cycle includes nine musical pieces selected through an open call that received over 80 submissions. Supported by Mecenazgo, these chosen pieces will be spatialized, allowing artists the opportunity to record and mix their projects in immersive format. This initiative not only showcases local talent but also reinforces the role of Domus Artis as a nurturing space for artistic creation amidst challenging circumstances. The presentations will take place on March 28 and 29, offering a unique opportunity for audiences to engage with these innovative soundscapes.

The integration of Dolby Atmos technology marks a significant step forward for Domus Artis, positioning it at the forefront of cultural spaces in Argentina. This initiative not only celebrates the venue's 25-year legacy but also aims to transform the artistic landscape by enhancing the auditory experience through advanced sound technology. The success of this cycle could serve as a model for other cultural institutions seeking to adapt and innovate in a post-pandemic world, highlighting the importance of resilience and creativity in the arts.
