Man charged with alleged axe murder of friend after dispute at remote NSW campground

A 25-year-old female friend of the victim indicated that both she and the victim had been attacked. The woman, who suffered bruising to her neck, was able to drive the injured man to Thora in search of medical assistance, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. In response to the incident, police apprehended the alleged attacker near Ebor before midday and have since charged him with several offenses, including murder and assault.
