The attack occurred on Saturday morning as the couple was walking three of their dogs near their home. Eyewitness reports indicate that the pitbull, which was white in color, squeezed through a small gap in the gate to access the street and immediately charged at the couple’s pets.

The attack resulted in tragic consequences when the pitbull first targeted a small shih tzu, which succumbed to its injuries on the scene. Additionally, the couple's other two dogs, a yorkshire and a german shepherd, sustained injuries from bites. The couple bravely attempted to intervene to save their pets but were ultimately harmed in the process, with the woman suffering injuries to her hand from a bite.
