Estonian President Alar Karis has expressed that he is still contemplating his candidacy for a second presidential term. During an interview on Kanal 2's program 'Silmast silma', Karis emphasized the importance of waiting for political parties to understand their preferences for presidential candidates. He noted that while there is ample time before the presidential elections, it is crucial for politicians to finalize their choices, especially as they prepare for upcoming parliamentary elections.

Karis highlighted that he has not rushed into a decision, stating he is currently focused on his daily governmental duties.
