In an effort to improve urban mobility and safety for cyclists, the city of Boa Vista has revitalized more than 2 kilometers of bike lanes along Benjamin Constant Avenue. The revitalization process included repainting bike lane markers and safety signals to enhance visibility according to local and national traffic regulations. Over 7 kilometers of cycling paths in the capital have undergone similar updates, highlighting the city's commitment to maintaining and improving its cycling infrastructure.

According to Gino Falcão, the Deputy Secretary of Urban Mobility, proper signage and visibility for cyclists are crucial for organizing traffic and ensuring safety. With more than 47 kilometers of cycling pathways available, Boa Vista is making strides in promoting cycling as a viable mode of transportation. Such improvements contribute to better quality of life for cyclists and support the city’s broader goals of sustainable urban development.

This project reflects the local government's dedication to enhancing urban mobility and is part of ongoing maintenance efforts for the cycling networks in the city.
