The most important weapons used by the parties in the current war in Iran
A report highlights the advanced weapons utilized by the United States, Israel, and Iran in the ongoing military conflict that erupted on Saturday.
A recent report by the Russian newspaper 'Izvestia' sheds light on the prominent weapons used by the United States, Israel, and Iran in the military confrontation that began on Saturday. The authors of the report, Bogdan Stepanovoi, Roman Kritsul, and Yulia Leonova, detail the opinions of several experts regarding the advanced weapons being employed and the potential scenarios expected in the coming period.
The report emphasizes the use of cutting-edge weapons by both the United States and Israel in the current strike against Iran. Israel has resorted to hypersonic air-to-air missiles such as the 'Rampage' and 'Blue Sparrow', which have only been used previously in the 12-day war in June 2025. These missiles are designed to target Iranian defense systems, including radars, launch platforms, and anti-aircraft systems, and are believed to have played a role in striking leadership centers.
Military expert Dmitry Kornev states that these missiles can be launched from F-15 fighter jets from over a thousand kilometers away from the target, eliminating the need to enter Iranian airspace. This capability significantly enhances the operational reach of the Israeli Air Force in the conflict while minimizing risks associated with direct engagement within Iran's heavily defended airspace.
