Caprichoso has launched seven toadas from its 2026 album at a festive event in Parintins, Amazonas, celebrating cultural ties and musical innovation.
On Sunday (1st), the Caprichoso bull unveiled the first seven toadas from its official 2026 album during an event held at the Barracão das Pastorinhas Filhas de Maria in Parintins, Amazonas. The event, which was dedicated to Dona Zizi Oliveira, featured the theme "Brinquedo Que Canta Seu Chão" and highlighted the community's vibrant cultural ties. Attendees could listen to the newly released EP, which showcases a blend of traditional and modern musical elements.
The decorations at the venue included colorful banners and religious symbols, emphasizing Caprichoso's connection to its cultural and communal roots. Composer Adriano Aguiar, involved in the musical production, expressed that while the album maintains the traditional spirit of Caprichoso, it also introduces fresh soundscapes. He specifically pointed out the toada "Toque do Trovão," which incorporates surprising musical elements alongside valued traditional instruments.
The event featured Patrick Araújo, the lead toada singer, who guided the bull through a performance of the new songs, captivating the audience with the rich musical heritage that Caprichoso embodies.
