Attack on Iran: Oil Prices Soar

Oil prices have surged in Germany as the conflict with Iran escalates, impacting fuel prices at the pump for consumers.

The escalating conflict involving Iran has led to a notable increase in oil prices, which consumers in Germany are beginning to feel at the gas station. As of Monday morning, the price of Super E10 and diesel reached nearly €1.90 per liter in many stations, with premium products exceeding €2.25. The Automobile Club of Germany (ADAC) reported that the average price for Super E10 across Germany was approximately 1.5 cents per liter higher than on Friday, while diesel increased by about 2.5 cents. This marks a significant change, as the ADAC spokesperson cautioned that these fuel prices might still rise further, as they do not fully reflect the recent spike in crude oil prices.
