USA and Israel continue to eliminate the leadership of the Islamic regime
The United States and Israel are reported to have killed several top Iranian leaders, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as they target the Islamic regime's core leadership.
The United States and Israel have escalated their operations against the Iranian leadership, claiming to have killed a number of high-ranking officials, including the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In the wake of these assassinations, it has been reported that Iran's governance is currently managed by a three-person council. This council includes the relatively moderate president Masoud Pezeshkian, the conservative head of the judiciary Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, and Ayatollah Alireza Arafi. While this council is set to lead the country until a new Supreme Leader is elected by an 88-member assembly of clerics, it remains uncertain how much real control they hold over the state and military forces.
Despite the reported appointments, there are concerns regarding the stability of the Iranian regime, especially in light of social media claims suggesting that Ayatollah Alireza Arafi may have already been killed. Furthermore, amid this leadership vacuum, Ali Larijani, a former commander of the Revolutionary Guard and current head of the national security council, is believed to be alive. Larijani was entrusted by Khamenei with significant authority over the stateโs daily operations during a period of civil unrest earlier this year. This dynamic situation highlights the ongoing turmoil within Iran and raises questions about both the future of its leadership and the implications of U.S. and Israeli interventions in the region.
