In the early hours of Monday, a car collided with a pole on Avenida Pedro Álvares Cabral in Belém, resulting in the vehicle catching fire and being completely destroyed. The accident, which occurred around 5 AM at the intersection with Avenida Djalma Dutra, created significant traffic delays due to the lack of traffic signals in the area. Reports indicate heavy vehicular traffic on this avenue during peak hours, exacerbating the situation for commuters.
