Is your child really safe in the car? Answers from police officers and specialists
This article discusses the importance of safety considerations when selecting a vehicle for families, highlighting results from a survey on consumer priorities regarding car features.
At the beginning of this year, a survey conducted by the portal "Autogidas.lt" involving over 1,000 participants revealed that the primary criterion for most respondents when choosing a car is the price-to-quality ratio, with 804 participants citing this as their main concern. Other considerations included fuel efficiency from 507 respondents, reliability of the brand from 473, with safety, technical characteristics, and the vehicle's suitability for family needs being important to 505 and 436 respondents respectively. Tautvydas Stasiulis from Autogidas emphasizes that while safety is often recognized as important, it is frequently not evaluated thoroughly regarding how children will be transported in a specific vehicle every day.
