The official stated that Russia is not considering ending the war and is actively planning assaults on vital urban centers. Moreover, he indicated that Moscow is still intent on taking over the Donetsk region and creating buffer zones in the Kharkiv and Sumy areas, seeking to penetrate further into Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions to facilitate the capture of cities including Zaporizhia and Odessa.
Despite these bold plans, the official, P. Palisa, expressed skepticism about Russia's immediate capabilities to realize these objectives, suggesting that significant military engagement to capture six thousand square kilometers of the Donetsk region could take the occupiers approximately a year and a half.
