Nokia Accelerates AI Development – Delivers a New AI-Based 5G Network to Brazil
Nokia is advancing its AI technology development and will deliver a next-generation AI-ready 5G network to Brazil in collaboration with Nvidia.
Nokia recently announced significant progress in its artificial intelligence (AI) technology development, particularly in partnership with Nvidia, the world's most valuable company. This collaboration, which started last autumn, aims to deepen Nokia's involvement in the AI sector, enabling the company to offer Nvidia-based devices in mobile networks. The focus is on integrating AI into mobile communication networks, enhancing their efficiency and capabilities.
As part of this initiative, Nokia will supply an AI-ready 5G network to Brazil, expanding its partnership with TIM Brasil to modernize the telecom company's 5G infrastructure. This upgrade will significantly impact approximately 42 percent of the Brazilian population, providing advanced mobile connectivity powered by AI technology. Nokia's efforts reflect broader trends in the telecommunications industry, where the integration of AI is becoming increasingly critical to meet growing data demands and improve user experiences.
Furthermore, Nokia is set to expand its collaboration with Deutsche Telekom in Germany, reinforcing its strategic focus on AI-driven solutions across European markets. By leveraging Nvidia's cutting-edge microchip designs, the partnership aims to bring next-generation mobile network capabilities that are essential for future technological advancements in telecommunications. The integration of AI in these networks is expected to revolutionize communication by optimizing network management and enhancing customer service capabilities, marking a significant milestone for Nokia in the global telecom landscape.
