Five Arab countries have issued statements confirming the availability of essential goods in the markets and assuring that supplies are operating normally, despite escalating tensions due to the war on Iran. The announcements were made by the Ministries of Economy, Trade, and Industry from Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan, indicating a collective effort to maintain stability in the regional supply chain.

In Qatar, the Ministry of Trade and Industry emphasized that goods and products are sufficiently available across various sales outlets to meet consumer needs. They called for adherence to official guidance and encouraged customers to purchase only according to their actual needs to foster a culture of conscious consumption. The ministry highlighted the dangers of overstocking without necessity, which could lead to food waste and spoilage of goods.

The advisory also included recommendations for consumers to buy only what they require for a reasonable period, suggesting that they create a pre-determined list of essential items before shopping. This approach aims to avoid impulsive purchases and promote diversity in shopping sources, helping to ensure that supply remains stable even amid regional crises.
