The Beseda festival, taking place in Tasov, Czechia, will introduce a range of international acts, including London-based rapper Lady Lykez and the punk group Balaclava from New York. This year's festival is set for July 31 and August 1, continuing its tradition of focusing on independent music. Organizers highlighted that both Lady Lykez and Balaclava represent authentic artistic voices within their respective genres, emphasizing community and cultural roots.

Festival director Lukáš Nedomlel expressed his enthusiasm for the diverse musical backgrounds of the featured artists. He noted that Lady Lykez draws from club and sound system culture, while Balaclava embodies the DIY punk ethos. This blend of genres showcases the festival's commitment to providing a platform for projects that resonate strongly within their communities, highlighting a mix of local and global influences.

In addition to the headlining acts, the festival has previously announced performances from American bands Liturgy and Horse Lords, as well as Northern Ireland's Makeshift Art Bar.
