‘Stop the war immediately...’, China’s clear message to Israel, America, and Iran
China has called for an immediate halt to hostilities between Israel, the US, and Iran, condemning any attacks on Iranian sovereignty.
The Chinese government has once again urged Israel, the United States, and Iran to cease their ongoing conflict. In a statement from China’s Foreign Ministry, it emphasized that attacking the Supreme Leader of Iran and attempting to assassinate him constitutes a serious violation of Iran's sovereignty and security. This action is described as a breach of the objectives and principles of the United Nations Charter, as well as fundamental standards of international relations. Thus, China firmly opposes and condemns such military operations.
Furthermore, the Foreign Ministry called for immediate cessation of military actions, warning against escalating tensions and stressing the importance of collaborative efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and globally. This appeal reflects China’s positioning as a mediator on the international stage, juxtaposed with heightened military tensions in the region influenced by various global powers.
In relation to recent reports about Iran procuring missiles from China, the Foreign Ministry categorically dismissed those claims as false, asserting that they were not informed about American military actions beforehand. This context sheds light on China's diplomatic stance and its intention to navigate complex international relations, particularly in a region marked by conflict. The remarks from China’s ambassador to the UN, Fu Cong, reiterate a consistent message to all involved parties to halt their aggressive actions, aiming to forge paths towards a more stable environment.
