Director Lee Sang-il, actress Suzu Hirose, and musician Taeko Onuki among selected for the Arts Encouragement Prize

The Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs announced the recipients for the 76th Arts Encouragement Prize, highlighting notable achievements across various cultural fields.

On November 2, the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs revealed the winners of the 76th Arts Encouragement Prize, an award that recognizes outstanding achievements in various fields of arts. Among those honored with the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award are director Lee Sang-il, who helmed the hit movie 'National Treasure,' as well as talent Michiko Shimizu and musician Taeko Onuki.
