On Saturday, the Brazilian military police arrested a suspect related to the attempted murder of a 27-year-old woman shot during her mother's funeral at a church in Baependi, Minas Gerais. The authorities had received reports that the motorcycle used in the crime was spotted in the rural area of the municipality. Upon conducting a search in a forested area, police discovered the motorcycle hidden among the vegetation, along with two helmets and a black jacket, which matched descriptions provided by witnesses and captured by security cameras.
