Three individuals were involved in a head-on collision at around 4 PM on County Road 61 Vanylvsvegen, near Juvatnet, at the border between the municipalities of Stad and Vanylven. The three individuals were treated on-site by ambulance personnel and subsequently transported to a local urgent care facility, although the extent of their injuries remains unknown. However, the collision caused significant material damage to the vehicles involved.

Following the accident, the road was closed to traffic; however, by 4:45 PM, police announced that one lane had been reopened for manual traffic control. By 5:40 PM, the vehicles had been removed from the roadway, allowing for free passage once again.
