On Saturday afternoon, a pedestrian discovered a hazardous item in the Forstenrieder Park in Neuried, which turned out to be a World War II stick incendiary bomb. According to the police inspection from Planegg, the bomb was found around 4 PM in a wooded area that is not frequented by the public. The authorities reacted swiftly to the situation, isolating the area to ensure public safety.

The police reported that the discovered incendiary bomb, measuring approximately 30 centimeters in length, was a dud from the Second World War. After securing the area, specialized police units successfully removed the bomb.
