On March 8, young activists in Penzberg organized a democracy demonstration to unite the community and strengthen social cohesion, emphasizing the importance of democracy for fostering freedom, tolerance, mutual respect, and humanity. Around 300 citizens attended the event, showcasing widespread support for the youth's message, which resonated strongly with the audience.

Among the passionate speakers was 15-year-old Luis Glötzinger, a student at the Penzberg Gymnasium and co-chair of the Green Youth in the Weilheim-Schongau district. Despite initial nervousness, he expressed confidence and conviction in his belief that Penzberg is a city with potential, partly due to the presence of innovative companies like Roche in the biotech sector. His speech reflects the aspirations and concerns of the younger generation who feel empowered to advocate for their ideals even though they are not yet of voting age.
