In the latest sledding competition held in St. Moritz, Latvian athletes Jānis Aparjods and Kristaps Bērziņš put up commendable performances, with Aparjods finishing in seventh place overall. The event saw German Olympic champion Max Langenhans take the first spot, securing a victory with a time that surpassed his fellow countryman Felix Loh by 0.347 seconds. After a strong first run from Jonas Müller, who led initially, a mistake in his second run saw him drop to third 0.758 seconds behind Langenhans.

Aparjods started off in ninth place after the first run but improved to achieve the seventh-best time in the second, finishing with a total time lag of 1.947 seconds behind the leader. His compatriot Bērziņš, although strong in his runs, could manage only two positions, landing tenth overall with seven and ninth in his respective runs, just six hundredths of a second behind Aparjods. Meanwhile, Rinks, who initially placed fifth, suffered a setback in his second run, finishing with a disappointing 16th spot and losing significant speed.
