Iran has launched a series of attacks against multiple Gulf nations, including strikes on Omanβs commercial port of Duqm.
The ongoing tensions in the Gulf region have escalated with Iran launching a new series of attacks against various countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed responsibility for targeting 27 American bases in the region as well as Israel, marking a significant increase in hostile actions following the Israeli-American offensive against Iran.
In the latest developments, the Omani News Agency reported that the commercial port of Duqm was targeted by two drones, one of which hit a mobile workers' accommodation, resulting in the injury of a foreign worker. The other drone reportedly crashed near fuel storage tanks without causing any casualties or damage. Additionally, Oman Air has suspended several flights due to the ongoing airspace restrictions affecting numerous countries in the region.
In Dubai, authorities reported that debris from intercepted drones fell onto residential areas, injuring two individuals and sparking a fire at a port. These incidents highlight the increasing risk and impact of drone warfare in the Gulf, raising concerns about the safety of civilians and the stability of regional aviation.
