Weather in Bavaria: Spring Takes a Break β When the Sun Will Return
Bavaria is experiencing cloudy weather with light rain at the start of meteorological spring, but forecasts suggest a return of sunshine soon.
After experiencing sunny spring weather in recent days, Bavaria is facing a shift to more unsettled conditions just as meteorological spring begins. The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts initial overcast skies with the possibility of light rain, although parts of Lower Franconia may remain largely dry with intervals of sunshine. High temperatures are expected to range from 7 degrees Celsius in the Upper AllgΓ€u to 15 degrees Celsius around the lower Main region.
Looking ahead to Monday night, the weather is expected to clear up according to the DWD, though areas in the Oberpfalz and southern Bavaria may face dense fog that could restrict visibility and create slippery conditions. Once the fog dissipates, a sunny day is anticipated, with temperatures rising between 10 to 16 degrees Celsius as the day progresses. While there could be some cumulus clouds and isolated showers in the Alps, much of the region will benefit from extended periods of sunshine.
Tuesday is expected to start off foggy again before transitioning to clearer skies with abundant sunshine. This pattern suggests that while Bavaria is currently experiencing less favorable weather, the outlook remains positive with warmer temperatures and sunny intervals returning shortly.
