A scream of horror captured on video: An adult drove into teenagers in the Citymarket parking lot
A 53-year-old man drove his car into a group of teenagers in a Citymarket parking lot after a verbal altercation escalated.
The incident occurred last year on the evening of the May Day Eve, when a confrontation ensued between the 53-year-old man and a group of Forssa teenagers in the Citymarket parking lot. According to the teens' accounts, the man was intoxicated and grew enraged during the exchange, threatening the teenagers with violence. He then returned to his vehicle parked nearby and deliberately accelerated towards the teens, putting them in immediate danger.
As the adults drove through the parking area at high speed, one of the teenagers was unable to start his moped, and was struck from behind. The impact was severe enough that it dislodged the teenager's shoes and helmet. Eyewitnesses recorded the harrowing moments leading up to and during the crash, capturing the reckless behavior of the adult driver and the distress of the young victims. Videos from surveillance cameras and personal devices revealed the alarming speed at which the car approached.
This unsettling event highlights the serious dangers of drunk driving and aggressive behavior, especially in public spaces frequented by minors. The footage not only serves as a chilling reminder of the incident but also raises awareness about the need for stronger safety measures in areas like shopping center parking lots, particularly during holidays when gatherings of youth are common.
