US: No US casualties... First use of suicide drones in actual combat

The United States has launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, confirming no US casualties so far and the operational use of suicide drones for the first time.

On October 28, the United States commenced a significant military operation dubbed 'Epic Fury' against Iran, as confirmed by the Central Command (CENTCOM) in Tampa, Florida. This operation was launched under the orders of the US President at 1:15 AM Eastern Time, with an immediate focus on dismantling Iran's security structure by targeting key assets such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) command facilities, air defense systems, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields. These measures aim to degrade Iran's military command and air defense capabilities amidst heightened tensions in the region.

The operation introduced new tactics and weaponry that reflect modern warfare capabilities, including precision-guided munitions launched from air, land, and sea. In a notable development, the 'Scorpion Strike' task force under CENTCOM employed cost-effective suicide drones for real combat scenarios, showcasing their precision strike potential. General Brad Cooper, the Commander of CENTCOM, emphasized the cohesive nature of the operation that unifies all branches of the military, including the Space Force and Coast Guard, demonstrating a comprehensive approach under the President's decisive leadership.

In response to initial US airstrikes, Iran launched hundreds of missiles and drones in retaliation; however, CENTCOM reported successful defense against these attacks, confirming no US casualties or significant injuries related to combat. The operation is described as one of the largest concentrations of US military firepower in the region for a generation, indicating a significant re-deployment of forces by the US in response to this recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
